Radiesse differs from Juvederm and Restylane in that it is not a hyaluronic acid filler. Instead, it uses calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres to promote natural collagen production in the skin, promoting volume. Radiesse can be used in conjunction with hyaluronic acid fillers for more comprehensive results, and is an ideal option for patients with significant volume loss in the face. Radiesse is also FDA-approved for use on the hands.

Sculptra is not a wrinkle filler, it is a bio-activator or “volumizer”. It promotes the production of new collagen in targeted areas with the use of poly-L-lactic acid, a biocompatible synthetic polymer. This collagen stimulation restores volume and rebalances facial contours, restoring a youthful, attractive facial appearance.

Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable solution that safely, effectively and permanently reduces submental fullness, more commonly known as a double-chin. Kybella contains deoxycholic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in the body that helps to absorb and break down fat.
